This Week's Passage

This week we are continuing in our series through Mark looking at Mark 1:40-45. In this story, Jesus is out preaching and healing in the small villages of Galilee and we get to witness Mark's first account of Jesus healing a man with leprosy.

As you study the passage, reflect on some of these questions:

In verse 41, was Jesus angry or compassionate? What would he have been angry at?

What were the laws around leprosy? Take a look at Leviticus 13.

What is so significant about the way that Jesus heals this man?
