This Week's Passage

This week we are looking at Mark 7:31-37 where Jesus continues his tour through Gentile territory and heals a Deaf and Mute man. 

As you read the passage, what sticks out to you about the way in which Jesus heals the man? The location? His physical actions in healing?

Why does no one listen when Jesus tells them not to tell anyone?

What Old Testament passages/prophecies are being called upon with this miracle?

How does this continue to contrast Jesus' disciples who still continue failing to hear and see who Jesus is and what he is doing? How does this miracle point to our own spiritual deafness and blindness?
