This Week's Passage

This week we will be back into our Mark series. We will be looking at Mark 1:29-34, exploring two short events of Jesus healing Peter's Mother-in-law and then healing a many more diseased and sick people as well as casting out many demons.

As you study, ponder some of these questions:

These events take place on the same day as when Jesus cast out the demon in the synagogue. Why did everyone bring their sick out after the evening?

What can we learn about Jesus' approach to healing many in a crowd, as well as his personal touch to Simon's Mother-in-law?

Why is Jesus keeping the demons silent?
