This week we are diving into chapter 2 of 1 Peter. What does it mean for us to be Living Stones? What is another word for a spiritual building in which priests carry out their duties?

As evangelicals/protestants, we often reflect on the fact that we as children of God no longer need priests to mediate for us with God because we can go directly to him. But I believe we don't often think about how God has made all of us a holy and royal priesthood. What is our job as priests in this world? What was the role that God had designed for Israel when he called them to be a nation of priests? What does that role look like for the church now as God's chosen people?
