This week we are looking at Mark 8:22-26 in which Jesus heals a Blind Man.
They have arrived in Bethsaida... When was the last time in Mark we heard mention of this town? What has taken place since that mention?
Why does it take Jesus two tries to heal this man of his blindness? Why didn't it just happen instantly as so many other healings have? What could Jesus be teaching us by this progressive revealing of sight? What does it teach us about the sight of the disciples and our own spiritual sight?
Reflect on Isaiah 35. What promises have we seen fulfilled in Mark so far?
